Overview

An Alert Text Field action adds a input text field as an item to a native alert. Alert Text Field actions can only be added to Alert triggers. The user entered data from an alert text field can be saved and used within the app.

Action Properties

Text

Set the text field’s text. To remove the title, just set this property to empty.

Placeholder

Set the text field’s placeholder text. To remove the placeholder, just set this property to empty.

Secure Entry

Choose if the text field is a secure entry and should be obscured.

Keyboard Type

Choose if the text field’s keyboard should be Default, Email, Number Pad, or Phone Pad.
