Overview

The Text Contrast (Hue) prefab automatically adjusts the color of all text inside a container to meet a target contrast ratio against a background, while preserving the text’s hue as much as possible. Use this prefab when:
  • Your background color changes dynamically
  • You want to keep text aligned to a brand/accent hue (instead of only pushing toward black/white)
  • You’re working with Glass / Blur materials
  • You want to meet accessibility contrast standards automatically
Text Contrast (Hue) prefabs should be placed on the parent of the text you want to control.

Controls

Contrast Ratio

Set the target contrast ratio between text and background.
  • 4.5 meets WCAG AA standard for normal text. 7 provides stronger accessibility. Higher values increase contrast.

Min Brightness

Set the minimum brightness allowed for the adjusted text color. Lower values allow darker text and higher values keep text lighter.

BG Container

Select which container should be used as the background reference.
